SPRING IS HERE IN THE MOUNTAINS!!!

THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON APRIL5TH.  IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND JUST HAD TO GET OUT AND WALK THE MOUNTAIN.  MY FLOWERS ARE SO PRETTY!!!!

THRIFT STORE FIND OF THE WEEK

This skirt is GREAT!!!!!  It is all hand patched.  Each section is alittle different, they measure 10 1/2 square.  At first I thought aprons, but once home I am playing with pillows or framed art.  What are your suggestions?

Future project will share the cup and saucer project later.

THRIFTY STORE BARGINS

The Hull Brown Drip isn't really pricey now (maybe will be one day like fiesta ware) but Mema had a set of dishes when I was little.  The only thing left is two coffee cups that Pawpaw hung on to after all these years and still uses one every morning for coffee.  I don't remember Mom having the serving dishes, man there is always something I want to ask her.  

1- divided dish 6 1/2 X 12     $1

2- 2 round cassrole dishes 7 inch both w/ lids $1.50 each

3- 8 inch square cassrole  $1
